Glory

Yo. So I know I haven't posted in a while...it's cause I've been working hard! Lots of homework assignments...so anyway I posted some sketchbook stuff, some life drawings and some pencil roughs for my comic assignments. Yeah. Bask in it.

INEVITABILITY

YO. Here is a little taste of what I've been doing lately. My Adv. 3D Animation final was to script a moving escalator. It works for a bit after it gets going, but I have found other better methods that are in the processes...I went to the Life Drawing Workshop on the 25th and I drew almost all of the poses...I broke out before the last 30 minute one though. I didn't have very many materials on me so I made due with crappy ink, random markers and a couple of weird pieces of paper that Rick gave me. Now that I'm on break from school (!) I have some more time! So I also did a little bit of work on an old Finnick piece. I'm thinking of revamping the whole pose...so...we'll have to wait and see how that ends up...

Anyway! I've also been doing a lot of recording/mixing/working on my own music and other songs I recorded with random musicians. Hopefully I can figure out a cool way to post songs on my website or maybe I will just keep abusing Youtube to get embed my own songs on my blog.

Hyper!

There is a program called Hypercam that I found out about recently. It is free and it lets you record the hot action going down on your computer screen then it places the video in your documents folder. It is pretty easy to use and this is the video from my very first session of Hypercam action. I didn't know what to draw and I just wanted to use it and speed up the video really so I just tried to sketch Finnick's face. He is still a pretty simple and generic character every time I try to draw him so I guess I need to keep at it with some proportion experiments.

Intact Imagination

What is up homies? Here are some paintings that are based off a 5-page comic I did a couple years back. I plan to paint every panel the way that I originally drew it onto canvas, so that if I want to I could do some better ones and just replace them. I think in all it's about 30 something paintings and I have only completed five! Some of them are really huge and I am going to have to get some canvas to match but whatever, when that day comes where I have the time and the money to finish the whole thing...I will be stoked. But then the cycle will just start again and I will have to try and finish some other elaborate plan of mine.

Delerium

More stuff! Sketchbook stuff...life drawings...I was day dreaming that I would one day win the sketchbook beatdown so I drew up a poster idea. I took about 20 minutes to sketch this cool temple in Nepal. I posted my third project for drawing and anatomy. Hips and legs is the focus...it's sort of hard to find a good reference. I feel like there is too much empty space and it's not really showing too much or anything awesome. Maybe I should find another ref and start over...but anyway...there's a picture of how my workspace is looking lately. Not too bad. Not too great. Whatever. Ha
