GIANT POST PART 2!
Some of this stuff I did over the break and I just never scanned it in until now. Most of it I wanted to "finish" first but I decided to post it all to increase my incentive to ink and color all that white away. So check it! Check, check it!

Hyper Drive!
Did a self portrait. It took about an hour. Here is the process edited down into two and a half minutes. Maybe I should have stopped earlier (?) but fuck it. Go!

Hyper Uppercut!
I forgot to record the other Photoshop painting so I decided to do another one and of course it didn't end up as cool but whatever...It makes for a decent desktop background with so much space. High resolution and size too. Like that means shit. Hahaha.

Literally Chilling
Yo I made my first custom brush in Photoshop and then I attempted to draw a part of my backyard. I was experimenting with overlays and other layer blends and I think it turned out alright. I worked on it for about 20-30 minutes.

Hyper!
There is a program called Hypercam that I found out about recently. It is free and it lets you record the hot action going down on your computer screen then it places the video in your documents folder. It is pretty easy to use and this is the video from my very first session of Hypercam action. I didn't know what to draw and I just wanted to use it and speed up the video really so I just tried to sketch Finnick's face. He is still a pretty simple and generic character every time I try to draw him so I guess I need to keep at it with some proportion experiments.

KILL BILL STUDY EXHIBIT A
I did this over the break and I wasn't sure how I should try to export it from Flash to get it online but I figured it out. I was talking to Jon Kaplan about animating one of my stories and he brought up a certain scene from Quentin Tarantino's first Kill Bill. Just popped in the movie and was sketching while it was playing then I started to pause and draw a couple of shots but I didn't want to sit on the same frame for too long so I tried to keep it pretty fast...I was doing a lot of experimenting with layers and quick ways to color. I have another more polished study I will post later.
